Christmas Day 2009!!!

I got a dress up box for Christmas!!!!!

Finally....some shoes with heels! Mommy says these are just to play in though and I can't actually wear them in public.

This is some stuff from my stocking.....

And this is a tired spider girl with her new doll house. Whew I don't know about you but opening presents wears me out!! Thank you Santa!!!

We Graduated!

Mommy and Ashley started working on their Masters degrees when I was four months old. They finally finished in July, but their graduation wasn't until December since they didn't finish in time for the Spring one.

Don't get me wrong, I'm really excited, but it was a looooong drive. And then we had to wait for it to start, and then I had to sit quietly.
And Daddy is excited too, he just looks a little nauseous because now that Mommy's done....it's his turn!! I don't think getting a Master's is all that bad, but Mommy says it is sad that a two year old excuses herself to go do "homeworks"!

Potty Training By Dad

A note from mom- So Shane has been on a kick lately that Em should be using the potty. I come home and he shows me this picture on the camera. Apparently he told her that if she sat on the potty he would get kitty kitty to sit on her lap. This is the only cat (out of three) that will allow Em to torment her for any amount of time and now she is being subjected to sitting on the potty.
Shane is rather proud of himself and thinks he has found the key to potty training toddlers across America. And now I get to leave the house knowing a little more about what goes on while I'm not around. Yeah........I got nothin'!

Christmas Photo Shoot 2009

So mommy decided since I don't have the best track record for behaving when having my pictures taken, she would try to do them herself this year. She took a buuuuuuuunch of pictures but these are some of the best ones.

See, I can take a good picture when I want to!

Daddy's Birthday 2009

Daddy let me lick the spoon after we iced his birthday cake!

Poor guy...Mommy didn't even buy him any birthday hats or party horns, so I let him borrow my Dora stuff from MY birthday! I even picked out the green sprinkles. I know green is my favorite color, but I think he liked them!

Aren't we cute? I mean I really don't know how mommy resists us sometimes.....I'm pretty sure she would roll her eyes right about now:)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY! I LOVE YOU!!

Putting Up The Christmas Tree 2009

We are putting up the tree!!!!! Even Lula and Harlie are helping:)

This process gets me a little wound up but I don't think I'll get in tooo much trouble since we only do it once a year!

Just makin' sure Mommy has all of the pieces she needs!

Daddy had to give me a lift to reach the top of the tree. I thought I was doing a pretty good job around the bottom, but Mommy said the top needed some ornaments too! Mommy wanted to to put in here that yes she knows that it is December and I don't have any clothes on....what are ya gonna do?

And We're Off!

April FINALLY got ready and I walked down the aisle with Ashley just like I was supposed to. I didn't throw my leaves, but I got the thumbs up from Mommy when I got to the front!

And then I think I went from two thumbs up to one....apparently when they said I would walk to the front and hold still, they meant for the ENTIRE time!?!? It was a looooooong wedding though. Probably like 15 or 20 minutes, I'm not getting any younger here.

I'm pretty sure by this point I lost all of the thumbs but I didn't really care.

And this is what a flower girl looks like on the ride home. It's a hard job being cute, but somebody has to do it! (Btw, they did eventually let me eat.....eventually)

Still Waiting

Ok, so the people had to wait a little longer and so did I. Daddy called this my come hither pose (whatever that means) but it was really a let's get this show on the road pose. I mean I'm ready....what is the hold up here?

Ashley was getting bored too......
Did I mention that we had been here like all day and once I got my dress on I wasn't allowed to eat anything but the party mints? They had all kinds of hershey kisses and cake and pie but noooooo ya get dirty one or two times while eating and they ban you for life from eating in a white dress!
Mommy thought it would be cute to get my picture on the porch of this old house. If I look cold, it's because it was spitting snow outside. Mommy said she didn't feel bad for me because I had a really cute sweater that Mamaw bought me to wear with this dress and I refused. I guess theoretically she won since I did freeze my tooshie off, but I will never admit defeat!

Getting Ready For The Big Day

I didn't really want to sit and get my hair curled, but they promised me some makeups if I did a good job.

It did look pretty good though:)

And then the makeups...mommy didn't put a picture of makeup job I did on myself....I wonder why?

Tadaaaaaa watch out people...here I come!

Being A Flower Girl

Ok, so I have this friend Ashley and her sister is getting married and needed a flower girl. They think I am pretty cute (I mean who doesn't) so they asked me to be in the wedding. Mommy says being a flower girl means I get to wear a fancy twirl dress and then I have to walk in front of some people throwing leaves on the floor then I have to stand by Ashley and be quiet while the wedding is going on. I am cool with the twirly dress and getting to throw stuff on the floor, but I am not so sure about being quiet. For how long? Why? What is getting married?

So here I am at the dress rehearsal. Mommy says a dress rehearsal means practicing for the wedding. What is so hard about putting on a dress is what I would like to know and then Mommy didn't even BRING my dress. No one had a dress! So what is the point of even practicing if you don't have a dress. I have been dressing myself for a few months anyway so I think these people are crazy! It took FOREVER so at least they let me play with some stuff on the table. I didn't really like the way it was arranged so I thought I would help them out a little.....

Oh yeah, this is the bride. I don't really know her and she kinda freaks me out so I just pretended she wasn't there and kept on decorating. I think mommy is getting nervous!

Trick Or Treat 2009

Check out my silly face....

I am a bee princess!!!!
Makin' sure the antenna are straight.....

Photo op with Mom...I have no idea what she is supposed to be.

Trick Or Treat Cont.

Mamaw and Papaw always come over to pass out candy while Mommy and Daddy take me trick or treating! They don't get any kids at their house so they borrow our house!

Me and the 'rents!

Our cool pumpkins that Daddy designed himself! I love the kitty although I think he was channeling some star trek when he did the ears on that thing!

Finally.....the best part! Although I have to say...I came home with an entire bagful and look at the teeny bag of skittles they let me have.

Mamaw's Surprise Party!

We threw Mamaw a surprise party for her 50th birthday!!! She would probably prefer if my mom didn't post her age on here, but since it is me and I am her sweet angel face.....I don't think she would have a problem! She even let me help blow out the candles. There were A LOT and mommy said they didn't even put all of them on. Jeez Louise!

I even got to help open presents!!

After the party was over I was FINALLY allowed to play with the balloons. I don't know why I wasn't allowed anyway....balloons are for kids not Mamaws!

Post Dirt Snooze

After playin' in the dirt and getting a bath....Daddy and I are exhausted! It's a good thing he is tall because I like to stretch out!

Pig Pen

One of my all time faves of the summer is to crawl into Momma's empty flower barrel and play in the dirt. I think it looks great on!

Dirt is also an excellent exfoliate for those of you who didn't know.

For the record, Daddy thinks that Momma is an absolute nut and freaks out when he sees me doing this. She just tells him that he isn't the one who does the laundry and to leave me alone!

Not that she has to worry toooooooo much about laundry!!

High Heels

I LOOOOOOVE to wear high heels. Mommy won't let me have any real ones. She says you have to be at least five so she just gets me these cheap plastic ones. I don't know why....I can walk in them better than most big girls I see and I can even match!

This is the look I got when I asked Daddy if I could have some.....

Oh well, I guess the world will just have to wait for my runway debut.....so sad.
